Nursing Director's Speech
In the Nursing Department, we provide advanced and distinguished nursing services and high-level integrated human care that serve patients and their families in all internal and external clinical departments in various specialties by leading practitioners in clinical work with a high degree of competence and this is done through: Applying scientifically proven practices, following the highest standards of quality and occupational safety, following up on nursing performance indicators, carrying out improvement and development programs for nursing departments, preparing all nursing departments for hospital accreditations, establishing specialized nursing diploma programs affiliated to the Commission for Health Specialties such as (cardiac diploma, intensive care diploma, Midwifery Diploma, Emergency Diploma), providing educational and training programs and contributing to the training of students and trainees from universities and colleges and programs of the Health Specialties Authority.
In order to achieve the dimension of upgrading health care, one of the strategies of the Kingdom’s National Transformation Program, which aims to strengthen the medical professions that include the nursing profession. King Abdulaziz University Hospital adopts nursing Saudization programs and professional development to prepare qualified Saudi cadres scientifically and practically in line with modern technology developments in order to support the needs of the health sector in the face of changing health care requirements locally and globally and contribute to shaping the future of health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Finally, the Nursing Department at King Abdulaziz University Hospital is always striving to reach the highest levels of excellence in the services provided and centered around patient care. This vision will be realized within a positive and stimulating environment that respects individual and collective achievements.
